We have often joked that our view could really benefit from the inclusion of a hideous concrete multi-storey car park. Some construction is going on down there and when finished, it will be visible from here. Actually, it already is but not yet significant in these shots. I expect however that it will be a villa and will have a red tiled roof and we hope that it won't be particularly offensive. We also hope that it will not be visible from the cottage, but it is unlikely that it will be. I wonder if it will become more noticeable in this series before the year is over.

We have begun our own olive harvest. Our hillside, being rather steeper than some, requires a bit more creativity with the nets. The fruit are greener than we would like, as a general rule of thumb, the blacker the fruit the higher the yield and the lower the acidity.
