Biscuit

It was dusk, when we started our walk and pitch-black, when we came back to the car. I managed this rather grainy picture of Biscuit just as we left the car... that's all I have today.

We have done a lot of training these last days, so today was a day off for the boys. We went for a long walk in the woods instead of training.

It was interesting to walk in the dark woods. The boys' different personalities became very obvious.

Biscuit is a wise old man. He could't care less about the dark. He enjoyed his walk and all the lovely smells. Daylight or darkness made no difference to him.

Gollum is young, brave and curious. He was all over the place and so excited about the deer and the foxes and all the different sounds and smells. He was on an adventure and loved it.

Hero is mummy's boy. He stayed close to me and seemed very alert. He growled a few times, when a fox or something else came too close. He didn't seem to mind all the men in dark clothes, who were jogging in the woods though. Apparently he decided that a fox would be a bigger threat to us than a man sneaking up behind us in the dark woods :-D

We had a lovely walk and I am not afraid of the dark, so I enjoyed it. And we did see a lot of deer between the trees and crossing the trails.

See you tomorrow
