Where shall we go?

An emergency blip of some European travel books on my shelf. Thinking of our next holiday and planning a trip.

Today has been a very sad day as I said goodbye to a lovely friend at her funeral.  Although I had only known her for  three years we had spent some good times together - laughed at her Strictly incorrect steps in zumba, put the world to rights over coffee and she introduced me to the world of designer clothes - which is still an expensive mystery to me!

Her passing was sudden and very unexpected but she had time to plan her own funeral and write the most emotional letter to her husband, who like her is a gentle; caring and loving man.

She will be greatly missed. RIP Dear Marie.
