Hellebores - Christmas Carol

After getting a new battery on my husband’s car we went into Bishop’s Stortford, where we had lunch. Then a walk around the shops before coming home; just as it started to rain.

Today’s picture is of one of the new Hellebores plants, which is in one of our front tubs. It is called Christmas Carol although it does not look much different to all the others that are in the garden. I do not know why there is one white and one ivory flower on the same plant. Maybe they start off white and then turn an ivory colour.
