Verbena

Amazingly, this Verbena has survived in its pot for the last three seasons and so last September I decided to take a few cuttings (thanks to Alys Fowlers suggestion in the weekend Guardian/Observer).  The first thing I noticed when I arrived home was that the three pots containing cuttings all seem to have taken root, so I'll need to do some repotting before too long.  I've also got a few Geranium and Fuchsia cuttings in water, so I must see if I can get them going too.

We had a good journey home, leaving North Yorkshire in rain and arriving back in South Yorkshire in sun (though it had been raining).  It brightened as we approached Stokelsley!  Beautiful reds and golds in the garden at the moment.
