If there's a bustle in the hedgerow

Standing quietly by the riverside I could hear much rustling in the bushes and shrubs , but it wasn't small rodents, it was the leaves falling steadily off the trees after a heavy overnight frost. The sun was up early and so was I.
It was beautiful. There were little wraiths of mist rising into the trees, complete stillness and a dusting of frost on the remaining flower and seed heads. A buzzard and some rooks were having a bit of an aerial dogfight. The rooks' superior numbers ensured they won this particular battle.
This is some sort of umbellifer with one remaining seed (extra), the golden backdrop is an autumnal birch tree.
The seedhead will have to count as a flower for Flower Friday purposes.
