Surprise for flower friday

Ok so it’s 39* but we have sunshine so I’m much more chipper today. After yoga I went to Breezewood Gardens to capture a blip since I was sure there were no flowers left in our yard. So much for my almighty certainty. Why wouldn’t a sprong flower be blooming on a cold November day? The past few years. The bloom time on many of the plants has been confused and off season. This lovely bachelor’s button is basking in the sunshine in the front yard. I love the iridescent blue purple.

Can’t remember the botanical name or color at the moment. No matter.
