Saturday

It was a pretty damp, overcast day.  The rain stopped about noon but the day remained grey.  We went for a drink at the Swan Bar before popping into Morrison's for ingredients for tea.

This afternoon I met Roz in the Windmill for a chat and a couple of pints of Abbot Ale.  Ann prepared tea of roasted tomatoes, onion and bell peppers with red jalapeno chili peppers, topped with oven baked fillet of haddock. Delicious.

This evening we settled down to the semifinals of the ATP tennis from the O2 in London, a year ago we were there watching Andy Murray.

The picture was taken in the front garden. It's nice to know we'll have some roses to brighten up the dull days.  The extra is something you don't see everyday, a gentleman polishing a public bench outside of Guild Chapel.  Why you would do that when its raining, goodness knows.
