Museum

Today’s blip could have been a giant glass light sculpture* against a backdrop of Guangzhou’s skyscrapers, or Peter the Great’s death mask in the Guangzhou museum’s gallery of pre-Revolution Russian artefacts, or even the exhibition of local artists’ paintings on the museum terrace. However, I was really excited to order a frappe and be served it in a vase, so this is it. Overall, a nice relaxing day out at the museum, especially the two hours I spent in the garden of their artsy hipster cafe.

*Guangzhou is having a light festival, which is somewhere between 2 weeks and 8 months long, depending on the sign you try to read, and also how good your Chinese is (I can only read 20 characters, and three of those are names of plants, so I am just guessing).
