A plea from the Mouse Goddess

Early this morning we had a prize delivered to the bed as we were sleeping. The muffled, strange cry as the present was being transported by mouth up the stairs was a give-a-way in itself. The mouse was probably playing dead when it was whisked outside swaddled in tissues, as it was missing from beside the back step this morning. We have a old, small attached barn with cat flap access and the hunting is good apparently this time of year. The Mouse Goddess would like to propose a truce, I doubt that Raspberry will be inclined to listen. We were not impressed, much to her chagrin. She hunted for it quite a while after the removal. She's more exhausted than usual today and was not impressed that she had to model for me.

For the Record,
This day came in dark and stormy with warm wind driven rain.

All hands wondering what horrifying news this week will bring.
