Tewin Church

We visited this Grade 1 listed building this afternoon to view the interior.  The son of friends is getting married there next summer, and my wife is doing the wedding flowers, so we went with the bride-to-be to discuss the floral decorations.

It is a delightful building, the oldest part originating from the 11th Century (though, naturally, there have been many additions and alterations in the intervening centuries).

I liked the way there was a patch of sun shining on one end of the altar and the wall behind.

This is one of several photographs taken purely for record purposes, to remind us of the layout of the building when it comes to the detailed design of the flower arrangements.
