Rush hour

We woke this morning to sunshine and blue skies, a welcome contrast to yesterday's continuous heavy rain and perfect for my walk with Zeus09smum and Zeus.  The beautiful weather clearly prompted a lot of people to take a walk in Epping Forest this morning: my main shot shows more people on that particular path than I have ever seen at one time before! I've added a couple of extras as today's walk was so lovely
The colours really are that vibrant.  For us, the Autumn colours never really reach their best until mid November.  It's a shame that this date was too late for me to post for Blip Community's  Colours of the Seasons challenge, but because of the type of trees that grow here, Autumn in its full glory is always this late.
