The Old School, West Wratting

This is The Old School at West Wratting, a small village a few miles from Linton. The current Camera Club Challenge is 'Architecture' and this is my first entry.

This Grade II listed building looks every inch the Victorian School is was built to be, right down to the separate doors for boys and girls. It was closed as a school in 1969 and converted to a dwelling in the 1980s.

The extra photo is a rather nice Wm Morris and Co window in St Andrews Church just along the lane from the old school.

A memorial window for Rev John Lowder Laycock Lees and his wife Sarah Ann. The window is dated 1910 so installed after the death of Morris and Burne-Jones.
