On Westport Beach - Fergus Sits for a Biscuit

(...and gets a coat, and meets some dogs)

13.0C with rain most of the morning, then more or less dry and cloudy in the afternoon. Light to moderate SE/SSW breeze with gusts to 30 mph in the afternoon.

Apothecary7's day off.

Fergus and I got a bit of a soaking on our first walk of the day.

Before lunch we all went down the road to the pet (and wool) shop and the very nice lady had a lovely brown waterproof and windproof coat that fits Fergus perfectly. He wore the coat quite happily for the short walk along to the Coop then home. Result !

We went to Westport about 2pm and had a long walk along towards Machrihanish. Fergus met several dogs on the beach and was very good with them. We aren't letting him off the lead just yet and he coped well with a group of three dogs all running up to him. He would have run about with them and played I am sure.

Apothecary7 has been carrying a resealable food bag with a few broken gravy bone biscuits and torn up meaty strips as treats for Fergus and here he is sitting down in anticipation of one of the remaining biscuits. Worked well as a ruse for getting a photo with the lead off.
