It's all behind you

The 'behind the scenes' process of last Wednesday's ceremony ran like a well oiled machine, from gown collection and assistance in robing, then being gently ushered toward the waiting and attentive portrait-with-pretend-diploma photographer who offers a choice of backdrop - and later, of course, in York Minster, the welcoming attendants choreographing the movements of all the graduates, herding us en bloc to our side aisle waiting pen, (look carefully!) then straightening our garb before we walk into the limelight for a handshake with the Archbishop of York who is the University's Chancellor, with, of course, the moment captured by the photographer in the pulpit.

Here's my moment captured and emailed to me today, available to download sans water mark for £10.  Bargain.

It's been a long road.  Jan '13
