Lathyrus Odoratus

Jelly baby anyone?

Unseasonably warm walk this morning - it was 17 degrees when I got back to the car. Despite the wind, the warm air brought out a few butterflies. I spotted three red admirals, a peacock and several brimstones. I didn't find much of interest in the fungi world but I did come across this tiny group of orange-yellow jelly-like fungi which I think must be the common jelly spot (Dacrymces chrysospermus).
