Poppies in Inveraray

D#1 and I are having a road trip into Argyll. First stop was Arrochar for coffee, then Inveraray for a wander and lunch.

At the War Memorial, which looks out over a dreich Loch Fyne, the display of poppies from Remembrance Day is still evident.

We are now cosily ensconced at Stonefield Castle near Tarbert and have enjoyed a fine dinner, followed by a feeble game of snooker.
