Fancy stamps

Baked ‘our’ Christmas cake today, that’s always good to tick off the list!

Had to post stuff and while I was there asked for some stamps, but I didn’t want the regular stamps, so the postman went and pulled out the ‘speical’ ones and this is what he brought!

How lovely are these? They had some other gorgeous ones, but these were the right value for local post. The value of one of these is 22p.

The ‘qipao’ pronounced ‘cheepow’, pow as in how, is the Mandarin word for the Chinese outfit. They call it something else in HK. I don’t even know if I’d use these, they’re just so pretty. And one would never know unless they asked!
