AHA, seems it wasn't all that fast; it was only 1/60 and rain can drop a fair distance in 1/60; 1" of it dropped in the last 24hrs.
It was a trifle damp, and these poor fellahs didn't seem to cleave to the concept of:- There's no bad weather, just wrong clothing".
It is an odd fact, but I tend to see more of this kind of work done at "backend" in clashy, cold, wet, weather than during summer.
Rain/bad-light stopped play; they were scared for the electricals just inside the living room window.
