Lidl! We were after that most essential of seasonal treats - bags of mini stollen! At £1.99, it was too good a bargain to miss, apparently. But ten bags? Really?
In an attempt to redress the balance I slipped in a bottle of Côtes du Rhône. £3.99! I really should have bought ten of those too I reckon.
Then out for the Friday teatime pint to the Dreadnought to meet up with JSitting. Excellent beers! Excellent music! And wide ranging chat - yeah! New York! Yeah! Out into the night and the slippy icy pavements were all twinkly.
