As the Germans say "Bei dem Wetter jagt man keinen Hund vor die Tür"
or "The weather isn't fit to turn out a dog"

In fact Angie set out early as it was still dry but with looming black clouds and managed an almost dry morning walk. I was trying to do some cleaning up on the horse fencing so that we could put electricity on the parts that still have electric fencing. The weather forecast means the horses are going to have to be banned from the fields and kept on the large concrete turn out area and the sand school. As there is grass within neck stretching distance, they will try to break through if there isn't a good 6000+ volts. I got soaked and as I started in the dry hadn't bothered to put on a coat.

Eventually at lunch time give in and came in for a warming coffee, while warming up leftover cottage pie from yesterday and a shandy. Angie made the mistake of lighting the wood fire - it wasn't that cold  but a look out at the rain made it feel freezing. Sat on the sofa. Luna joined me . Luna laid on the left side, I sunk to the right side. Luckily Angie didn't have a wide enough lens to capture us both snoring - and yes Luna snores and how she snores!

Angie bravely did another evening walk with the dogs but not long.

Possibly some snow tonight but won't settle as ground so wet. However daytime temperatures for next week just getting above 0°C compared to the middle teens the last few days.
