Picture day for the girls - and our last Saturday

Today was picture day for the girls as as we need to have portrait photos of them all for our records on the database.

There was no shortage of playful poses, but Florence wasn't long instructing the girls to stand straight and just smile!

Gerry manged the queue and Kevin took the shots. It was a busy day as our last Saturday of our 41st visit to Malawi came to an end. We had new bench firms arrive for the classrooms, construction of a new classroom is almost complete (which may yet have a respite centre upstairs) and we had some discussions about extending our farming activities.

As usual, the girls sang their beautifully uplifting goodbye song for myself and Mary - but since we're not leaving until Monday I'll chat about it then!
