Agricultural fair in Ngranga Village

Today there was a fair (of sorts) in Ngranga village in Rumphi district.  It was an opportunity for NGO's operating in the area to showcase what they do and was attended by a representative from the Ministry of Agriculture.

There was a great crowd, but entertainment organised for the day appeared to overshadow the stalls as everyone wanted to see the music or drama.
The volunteers Harisen brought with him, however, seemed to act as a good marketing technique as lots of the kids were interested in the "muzungos" and came away from the music to see how the pumps worked.

Laston from the farm was also in tow, explaining what we have at the farm and made a few sales!

Hopefully next year they might leave the music and drama until after the displays.
