Thanksgiving dinner

Bob and I have many things to be thankful for this year. Just to mention three:
1) Bob's miraculous recovery from the heart attack in June and successful quadruple bypass surgery.
2) Although we lost our buddy Gulliver in September, we are thankful that he is no longer in pain and especially thankful we got to enjoy his companionship for 15 years. Springer spaniels are great family dogs. Gully was our second, and we loved them both.
3) The kitchen is not my favorite room, and I am thankful that there are others in my family who love to cook. Our delicious Thanksgiving feast was prepared by our son-in-law Mike and his daughter Emmy.

Today's extras are Emmy and her brother Michael playing Kerplunk as they waited for dinner to be ready and the Chagrin River valley as viewed from the bluff across the street from their house.
