The final cut

It's got to be! LH was a little chilled after doing this but as he won't have to do it again for at least 3 months he'll survive! And it does look much less shagpile now.
A clearing up after visitors day which has resulted in a bonus; the washing machine finally revealed just why it had been taking twice as long per wash by indicating the water inlet pipe was blocked. And so it was. Shame it didn't do that 2 weeks ago but at least we only phoned the repairman and didn't call him out.
The sewing room is back in action already. I'm making a couple of mobile phone covers; one to replace the one I lost on the Long Mynd a couple of weeks ago, the other for a friend who has worn out the previous incarnation (extra). I also finished another 6" friendship block yesterday whilst 'refereeing' a particularly noisy game of Samba :-) (other extra).
