On the fourth floor

Up town - eventually - and then on our separate ways - the SK off to earn money (after buying an outrageous multi-coloured tin foil jacket) while I sloped off to the Photographer’s Gallery. More art! Wim Wenders: Instant Stories which I liked very very very much. And I spent a happy time reading the accompanying text - so much so that I bought the book! Onward across the Millennium Bridge to spend an hour viewing Red Star over Russia at the Tate before heading to Brixton to meet up again with the SK and F in a trendy craft beer place. We were intending to eat at the Village but it was closed! With time running out, we chanced upon a delightful Portuguese restaurant - Nando’s it was called. Top place. Over the road and into the throng in the O2 to see the Fleet Foxes - a pretty excellent opening 45 minutes but I felt it stalled a bit just when it needed to kick on, and then some of the crowd began to drift out before the end. So it goes. And so, back to Southwark and snacks and a beer on the bed - note to self - cheese straws make a lot of crumbs.
