Journey Through Time

This doe has twins, but they didn't cooperate very well to get all three in the photo. This was taken through the window, so not the best. The fawns were very interested in the turkeys who were wandering around the back yard also. The two male turkeys were all puffed up trying to impress a female, who really wasn't thrilled with either one, as far as I could tell.

Bill helped bring in firewood and stack it in their garage and they were grateful for the help. So that chore is out of the way for now. We had some breakfast, did the chores, played some cards, ate more salads and such for lunch, played more cards and then it was time for us to leave. They would be content to have people over to play cards every day, I think! Hopefully we can get back to see them in December for her birthday, if the weather isn't awful.

A nice ride back to Portland, but the east wind is done and the smoke filled skies are back. Yuck!

Gotta run.... I'll try to catch up with folks sometime or another.

See ya later, my blip buddies.
