Quail Couple

I nabbed this male and female Gambel's quail as they scooted across my back wall.  I hadn't noticed any recently but apparently I haven't been looking at the right time of day.  The last few days I've watched oodles of them.  There's a steep hill on the back side of the wall.  Yesterday, I was hanging out in the yard and watched a huge covey run from under a large bush across the street only to hide under a group of prickly pear.

Thanks for the concern about my eyes.  I did get to the doctor.  Pipersmom nailed it.  She sent me this.  The doctor confirmed it.  Let's hope I won't end up in the 15% of sufferers who end up with complications!!!
