Mum died today

They were putting up the Christmas tree in the Care Home and I realised I now have to face my first ever Christmas, and the rest of my life, without her.

For those that have followed the agonising last few days the end was as good as it could have been.

Having realised last night I needed to be there with my Mum and my family I was desperate for her to be still alive this morning so I could have some 1 to 1 time.

She was, and I did.

She died peacefully at 16.40 with all of her family around her loving her and holding her and each other.

Goodbye my beautiful Mum we are going to miss you so very much.
