The morning sun when it's in your face....

I got up early this morning and walked down to the lake to see if there was a colourful sunrise. There was but it wasn't as spectacular as some I've seen, but it was so cold and peaceful . There were a few photographers a few dog walkers and that was all.
I don't really do early mornings but last night we had a Blipmeet at the Wainwright pub with Sue Middleton and Dave, Clickychick and Jerra and Graham Colling , one of our esteemed Blip Leaders! Graham said that he would be up early to photograph the dawn and it seemed a good idea at the time, so that's how I came to be up and about before Loosecanon. Unheard of!
A bit of retail therapy this morning and now off to complete our last small Wainwright of the North western Fells, unless the lure of a warm house proves more tempting!
Update. We didn’t do the walk because there was a sign at the bottom of the Honister pass saying that the road was icy and was not advised! It was too late to go a different way as the light was already beginning to fade so, we shall have to do it another time!
