St. Andrew’s Day

Flying the flag in Arnside to show respect and affection for all our good friends in Scotland and indeed to all who live there. A beautiful land whose inhabitants have made a major contribution to civilisation across the world. Looking back in science, engineering, medicine and many other areas, Scots have always been in the forefront.

And we have to thank them specially for creating Blipfoto.

I for one very much hope that, like Yorkshire, they will remain a part of our United Kingdom.
