Iron Bridge

In the centre of Hebden Bridge is the Carlton Building (ex Co-op Building) and this blip shows the clock tower and gantry.
The Carlton Building is now apartments (Carlton Chambers) with shops at ground level. The gantry served as a fire escape when the top floor was used as the Carlton Ballroom.
As it is no longer required the wooden floor of the walkway has been removed.  I'm glad they kept the gantry.
