Male Red Bellied Woodpecker

I chased this bird around in the backyard for so long this afternoon, I was determined that he would be my blip.  These woodpeckers don't actually have a red belly so I am not sure how they got their name. He spent most of his time on the 40 ft Maple, which was partially covered in some beautiful late afternoon sunlight.  That along with the lack of leaves gave me some nice photo ops.  He's a handsome fellow, isn't he?
