The Nutcracker

Rather like the 25 knitted post box toppers placed around Hertford, to raise funds for a hospice close to many of our hearts, the city of St Albans has a series of man-sized nutcrackers set up as a festive town trail.

The two defendants in the case I was a juror for cracked liked nuts under pressure today and both decided to change their plea to guilty. Game over. The cover story they had concocted was a complete waste of all our time, and, they proved only that they are pretty convincing liars. Sad.
