Yarn Bombers Strike Again

Back home from the Lake District it was a full on busy day. There were lots of people in town Christmas shopping, so that, along with the fact that Advent starts tomorrow, got me thinking. Too many people find it stressful, which kind of defeats the point. Christmas is about loving & giving & sharing. It shouldn’t become just another list of chores, albeit glitter wrapped.

The yarn bombers have struck Hertford again, with their knitted postbox toppers. How they managed to cover all thirty something of Hertford’s postboxes, so soon after their magnificent poppy train adorned the castle just a few weeks ago, is quite impressive. The toppers bring a smile to everyone’s faces and they are also raising funds for the Isabel Hospice.
