Red Squirrel

Going away for a fortnight we wondered if our squirrels would have found somewhere new to dine. Not so! Within a few a couple of days of filling up the nut feeder we were seeing Mr Black again.

Mr Black seems to be keeping our garden for himself as one of the others got chased away earlier this week. I missed the sight of them running round the lawn and trees but The Man was able to watch them.

No, then! I have had an idea about yesterday's mystery. Ice defying the laws of physics? Well, it was in close proximity to the house wall. I don't know how possible this is, but the icicle is at an angle so I reckon that there could have been a thread of a cobweb from the wall to the tyre and droplets of water kept running down it. It's all I can think of.
