Mona Lake, Muskegon, Michigan

I have a few ‘days off’ from my Physio appointments while I wait for the results of my MRI. It’s been a long time since I’ve visited my US family so I decided to fly off spend a few days with them. I flew to Chicago this morning and made a connection to Muskegon in Michigan. Muskegon is on the western side of Michigan, across the lake from Chicago. We flew over Mona Lake just before touchdown and were treated to a beautiful sunset. Mona Lake flows into Lake Michigan. My uncle and aunt used to live on the lake but I don’t think I’ve ever seen it as beautiful as this evening.
