The Omen

I went for a fish and chip lunch, complete with mushy peas and gherkin. Very good it was too. But coming out this was trotting past. And the back was empty - just waiting for a coffin. Was it an omen, I wondered?

So I thought that a cheering up was needed to ward off the feelings of mortality. I know! Let's go and see Paddington 2. And I can report that, like everyone else who has seen it, it is brilliant. And Hugh Grant is a revelation. Possibly his best performance yet.

I feel happy again now.
