Nearly but not quite ...

Just over a fortnight ago I posted a blip called Just for the Record of a fine looking Red Admiral. Seemed late in the year for them still to be flying around. But today - just for the record - I clocked another in our garden. I did photograph it, but I'm not blipping the photo - the poor little thing's wings were the most ragged I've ever seen. It amazes me that it could fly at all, let alone in a biting December wind.

I was hoping to blip tonight's full moon, but it's completely hidden by cloud, so I give you last night's nearly-full moon - snapped so late it was nearly today's!
