There go the buds

Caught this Squirrel drinking from the bird bath first of all but liked this one of him/her up the Hawthorn tree nibbling at the early buds. I really don't mind as food must be a bit scarce out there if it is taking that much trouble to eat!
If it's the same one that we are used to seeing in our garden then maybe it's forgotten about the conkers and walnuts it buried in our garden a few months ago.
