Winter sky (Day 940)

I woke up with a sore finger. The plan to stay off the painkillers was shelved, though I decided to stay off the really strong stuff. Having dosed myself up, I headed off up the hill with the woofers. The walk was unremarkable.
Back at home there were a few things to sort out before a trip to town with  my beautiful wife who thought we were going in the van so that we could collect fuel for the boiler, but I surprised her by buying a new cooker before we collected some bits and bobs in Tesco.
After lunch we took a quick walk at Wasdale where we were lucky to avoid most of the rain and the sky was worthy of a quick shot.
