I know it's only 1st and we haven't even reached Advent Sunday yet but Christmas has started here. Our Christmas Tree Festival is 1st - 3rd December. The school choirs sang at different times today and we had quite a few people visiting. There are 49 trees in the church, all decorated by different organisations. It looks beautiful. 

This evening we had a concert by the ladies choir. The school choir also took part, as well as a soloist and two people playing the flute. We finished with mulled wine and mince pies. A lovely evening. 

I am struggling with "doing Christmas" this early. I'm not ready!
