Amazing Africa

The name of our tour which more than lived up to it yesterday.
7.00 am to 4.00 pm in Kruger National Park in comfy open jeeps with brilliant guides.

We had seen 4 of the big 5 before 9.00 am. We were told it was a perfect day as it was cloudy so the animals are more likely to be in the open.
Impala were the first things seen with young plus Waterbuck and Kudo.Groups of White Rhino, elephant, water buffalo and giraffe followed together with zebra, warthogs, wildebeest or gnus.
This chap was happily sat on his rock under a tree, he watched us a while and then turned his back. A rare sighting as there are less than half the numbers of Leopard to Lions. We saw another later given away by his tail hanging down from the branch of a tree.
Just had to share him with you.
We saw a pride of lions but only in the distance.
Lots of birds including a Tawny eagle and an Eagle Owl. Colourful lizards and quite a
few dung beetles busily crossing the road.

Fantastic finale to a fabulous trip.
