Sheep at Atcombe court

I went to visit Maggie this morning for coffee and to give her a print of one of my pictures. It featured a statue recently installed at the local Museum in the Park's Walled Garden. The sculptor is a friend of Maggi and she wanted to give him the picture as birthday present, his 91st. I'm really happy to oblige as I like the statue and am glad that he will have a record of it in situ, which apparently he hasn't already got.

Maggie lives in a cottage on a Cotswold manor estate. The sheep graze in fields all around the stone buildings set into a combe or small hollow at the head of a small but steep valley set into the Cotswold limestone hills near Stroud. The pavilion is not for the sheep however, but probably gets used by spectators watching tennis games on the adjacent court.
