Drinking Fountain

I haven't had a lot of time today so once again I've fallen back on our local park, this time to blip one of the two drinking fountains.  This is the Jubilee Fountain, and is sometimes called the Ramsden Fountain; it was gifted by Sir John William Ramsden on the occasion of Queen Victoria's Golden Jubilee and originally stood at the northern end of the Market Place in the centre of Huddersfield.

I've managed to get my Christmas cards off this morning and later we met up with friends for lunch at one of our favourite restaurants. We've had a great time catching up and putting the world to rights and all in all it's been a pretty good day.

Thank you BobsBlips for continuing to host the WidWed challenge.
