Seventeen and a Half Minutes Past Five

We've got our car back! The priest gave us a lift into Reguengos in the end (there's only one bus a day) to collect it - we are considerably poorer, but a lot safer. Loads of worn out steering and suspension joints; Mike's brought the worn ones back to make things out of - in Brazil, he made the hinges for the church gates out of steering terminals.

Determined to get a festive blip, I asked him to drive into the middle of town - wow, what a lot of lights, compared to here. Got very cold taking photos. Difficult to decide, but went for one that is obviously Reguengos, with its wedding cakey pink church.

And we now have lights on our front balconies, which will have upped the Christmas factor in town a fair bit, especially as we are the only third storey, and on the main road in.

Jeff has docked in Santander, and we expect him sometime after ten...

Oh, and by the way, thanks so much for all your hearts and stars that put what I thought was just a boring sunset shot (sunsets are never boring, but photos of them often are because so common, I guess) up on the popular pages. What a community to belong to!
