Red Father Christmas

We headed to the visitor centre high in the mountains this morning. It’s in the National Park which is a UNESCO World Hertitage Site reknown for it’s pristine woodland of Canary Laurel, Canary Holly and Heather tree amongst other vegetation.

Afterwards we descended into the small traditional village of Agulo where this blip was taken. As it has a small red Father Christmas in the top l thought it could qualify for wide angle Wednesday. The islanders all put their decorations out in December which seems about the right time to me.
