Water drop

I am heartened to see that our watering system is up and running at OGH.  The timing is all out of whack, but at least it works, and the weather can't stay cool and damp forever.

We are overrun with agapanthus, and some will have to come out, but it's back breaking work to get rid of them.

I can't believe that DEWNR will abandon our volunteer group, but the situation is reminiscent of the Adelaide University in the 70's and 80's.  Funding was drying up and the Uni had to start marketing it's services.

My major issue is, given that we start to make money, where will that money go?  If it goes into general revenue it wouldn't be fair, but also given that the Government has just spent a couple of billion dollars on a new hospital, not to mention huge upgrades to our roads and transport systems, that money has to come from somewhere.

In the meantime, we'll tread water I guess, and see what happens.
