Coming out of the box

It was a day for Susan putting up Christmas decorations ready for Friday’s annual Walkers Do, not that many are walkers nor do they all attend nowadays.

Her plans were thwarted by the failure of a set of bulbs for the tree meaning she had to go and buy a new set which turned out to be too bright. She’ll take them back tomorrow and exchange them for a less bright set, meanwhile the tree remains undeclared. The rest of the house looks lovely though.

I was just faffing about really, trying to tick things off my list without adding too many new tasks at the same time. Amended the policy that I’m writing at the moment and cooked the dinner.

Today’s blip shows the Christmas decoration dolls and other things in the box blinking their eyes as the lid was opened for the first time since last January. They’ve had a long hibernation, now it is several days without sleep.
