Christmas decorations and lights, Week Street

I thought today was the same as yesterday, but it wasn’t quite. Went for a run first thing in gentle drizzle, coming back to carry on with whittling down the task list. Meanwhile Susan was out looking for those elusive tree lights. She tells me lots of people were perplexed at the choice of lights and many were exchanging previously bought lights.

The drizzle turned to heavy rain for a while as Susan finished the tree and decorations which delayed our walk into town for a spot of Christmas shopping. Only partly successful as the store I go to for my walking shoes didn’t have my size and we were unable to buy any artists materials for me. We need to go to a proper artist shop rather than Hobby Craft which seems to stock less and less of the specialist sort of stuff.

We were gasping for a cup of tea when we got home having walked 7.5 milestone town and back - on top of a run for me in the morning.
